Rivers & Robots signs to a new UK label

For the last few years we've been meeting with a guy called Chris Lawson Jones, who works as A&R for Integrity Music. Initially talking about signing Rivers & Robots to a deal with Integrity, which we initially turned down to remain independent and focus on developing our sound and pioneering something new (which was a big part of launching Set Sail too!).

Watch our video announcement.

But over the years we've come to realise that our main aim is really to focus on the creative aspects of what we do here, and getting caught up in the admin of trying to be our own label was actually slowing us down from what we feel called to do - create! In the meantime, we've been meeting regularly with Chris about a new label he's been given the go ahead to launch as a new imprint of Integrity Music, called Running Club Records. We've felt honoured to be a part of the initial conversations of launching this label. And it feels like Running Club is able to bring some infrastructure to the band so that we can focus on running Set Sail and the creative side of what we do.

So we're excited to announce that Rivers & Robots is now the first artist on this new label! It's been a really fun journey seeing this thing come about. And it's all being documented through a podcast which launches very soon! Visit the running club website to keep up to date with all of that. http://runningclubrecords.com/
