Be in our next music video!

Ever wanted to be in a Rivers & Robots music video? Now's your chance! We want to get our friends and fans involved in the video for "Lift Up My Eyes". Here's how to get involved.

  1. Fill in this form and pick a line from the song.
  2. Write / draw / paint the lyric you picked.
  3. Get a friend to film you holding it in whatever part of the world you're in.
  4. Send the video via dropbox / wetransfer / Google Drive to riversandrobots@gmail.com
  5. Spread the word and get your friends involved!

We also need a lot of dance parts for the instrumental sections, so if you want to do some comedy dancing as well, then go for it!

LET'S MAKE A VIDEO!

The deadline is November 13th for submissions.

Have a listen to the song below to familiarise yourself with it!

Update: many of the lines from the song have already been taken. Your best bet at this stage is to pick one of the 'oh's or one of the many "lift up" and "my eyes" echoes. We'll release some lines again in a week if we don't get the videos in. Check back for updates!

New music from Rivers & Robots

After a successful Kickstarter campaign, and a few months of recording, mixing and mastering, we've put the finishing touches to the new Rivers & Robots album, The Eternal Son. It's going to be our first release on Vinyl, and we really went the extra mile in the recording process this time around. A highlight of ours was definitely spending a few days with our friend Jonny Bird in Martin Smith's studio, recording electric guitars. Jonny helped us to get the best tones out of the the parts we played, and we're really with how it's come out.

Take a look at the trailer for the album, which will be released this month on the 20th May.

We also released the first single from the album, called Wait For You. Which is available to stream via soundcloud.

We'll be sharing some more about the album soon, but in the meantime, help us spread the word about the upcoming release! The album is also available to pre-order on digital, CD or Vinyl from our bandcamp page.

The first "Big Gather" event with United Pursuit

The first "Big Gather" event with United Pursuit

On August 25th we're going to be having our first "Big Gather" event. And it's going to be great! We've been running Gather for just over a year with the aim of doing creative worship in creative places, and so far that's just been living rooms, which are great, but our aim is to start doing some more varied venues. And so we're kicking off with our first bigger event, and it's in one of our favourite gig venues in Manchester, the Deaf Institute!
